It's an exciting time to come and join Children & Young People as Service Manager for Neonates, supporting the great work we are doing to become a high quality organisation that provides excellent care to patients.
We are currently looking to recruit a talented and highly motivated Service Manager. As a Service Manager, the post holder will support the Directorate Manager by providing operational management and business development of designated clinical speciality Neonatal services within the Directorate. For a short period of time, this will include support to Maternity Services.
The post holder will provide timely, efficient and effective operational management support to the Directorate Manager and the speciality leads to ensure that services are responsive and provided to the highest clinical and performance standards.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support developing and implementing projects and initiatives to improve cost, service delivery and patient experience to Neonates and will ensure continuous improvement of performance and quality targets.
On behalf of the Directorate Manager, the post holder is responsible for the day to day operational issues within designated area of responsibility to ensure the Service Group delivers on its key targets and priorities in a safe, sustainable and effective environment.
