As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Utility Survey team in the Southern Region and are seeking a dynamic Utility Surveyor to help drive this Regional Office forward.
The Role
As a Utility Surveyor with MK Surveys, you will play a crucial role in delivering PAS128 surveys of the highest standards to our clients. You will be responsible for your own projects, from site surveying using a range of equipment to post-processing your survey data into quality survey deliverables. You will also often work as part of a team to deliver projects with crossover into various areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take full ownership of your Utility Survey projects from start to finish.
2. Record site data using EML and GPR equipment.
3. Post-process site data ready for generating survey deliverables.
4. Collate survey information and prepare CAD deliverables to the highest standard.
5. Lead survey teams on site to deliver for our clients.
6. Help with training of junior staff and advise on best methods where applicable.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor, with expertise in site data capture and post processing.
2. Good level of knowledge relating to the PAS128 standards.
3. QCF Level 3 Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying as a minimum.
4. Experience in working as part of a team to deliver projects.
5. A keenness to continue your professional development which will be supported.
6. Maintain awareness of the latest industry best practices and standards, especially relating to PAS128.
