Role Title: Commercial Manager - Supply Chain & Partnerships (Multiple roles)
Salary: £48,000 - £62,500
Locations: Derby OR Manchester (Hybrid)
We are now recruiting for multiple positions across the Commercial function including Commercial Manager(s) - Supply Chain & Partnerships, to be involved in an industry leading, cutting-edge project for a new type of power station.

The role provides the unique opportunity to work in an exciting new nuclear age engaging and working with strategic customers, suppliers and partners, developing meaningful relationships with some of the largest entities across the globe.
The Commercial Team is responsible for supporting our procurement and purchasing colleagues with defining contracting strategies and leading the negotiation and execution of appropriate terms and conditions, as well as providing post-contract commercial support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and lead on a variety of commercial activity, including the negotiation and delivery of contracts in line with business strategy, requirements and budget.
2. Align with commodity teams to support contracting strategy decisions and identify appropriate contracting mechanisms/agreements.
3. Develop and manage risk mitigation and ensure compliance with company policy and process.
Key Selection Criteria
1. Contract drafting and negotiation, including managing contracts with third parties.
2. Experience of negotiating on company templates and reviewing third party forms of contracts.
3. Contribute to business strategies relating to customers, suppliers and partners.
4. Lead activities and improvements in relation to governance, processes, policies, training and development of contract templates.
5. Interface with internal stakeholders at all levels.
6. Present information to stakeholders in a compelling format.
Pay and Benefits
We anticipate paying a salary of between £48,000 - £62,500, with additional benefits including:
* Performance related bonus of up to 12.5%
* Benefits Allowance of £2,200
* Pension: 12% employer and 6% employee contributions
* 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days

Training & Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in business management, Law or Finance
2. Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development
3. Proven good interpersonal and organization skills
4. Experience with managing or negotiating contracts within a highly regulated environment
5. Experience in a supplier-facing role
