Are you a proactive SHEQ professional with experience in the utilities or water sector? We are looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide expert health, safety, environmental, and quality support across the Northumbrian Water Framework.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Conduct risk assessments and implement effective safety measures to enhance site practices\n\n * Provide expert SHEQ advice to site teams and subcontractors, ensuring best practices are followed\n\n * Drive compliance across projects, embedding a strong safety culture within operational teams\n\n * Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards\n\n * Support in the investigation of incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative actions\n\n * Assist in delivering SHEQ training and toolbox talks, ensuring teams remain informed and compliant\n\nRequirements:\n\n * NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification)\n\n * Previous experience in a SHEQ role within the utilities, water, or infrastructure sectors\n\n * Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental best practices\n\n * Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence teams on-site\n\n * A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes\n\nThis is a site-based role where you will be instrumental in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.\n\nInterested?
