Technical Claims Specialist, Hybrid Homeworking - Bradford

Reactive Recruitment are working with one of the world's largest vehicle warranty companies. Due to progression/internal movement, our client seeks a number of Technical Claims Specialists to work flexibly from home and their Bradford offices once the training period has been completed.
Overview:
Dealing with claims and incoming telephone enquiries received from customers, dealerships, and end users, providing consistently superior customer service levels by meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Using expert technical knowledge to authorise claims and negotiate claims payments for mechanical breakdown, parts, and labour rates, which can often involve very high values.
Duties:
* Ensure all telephone claims are processed proactively and efficiently within the limits of authority and in line with company policy, informing claimants of the status of their claims.
* Process claims payments within the limits of authority and in line with company policy and product terms and conditions.
* Use technical expertise to make claims decisions.
* Deliver a consistently superior customer experience, ensuring all customer needs are met and that they fully understand our decisions.
* Conform to all company policies, including the security of corporate information and electronic mail policy.
Required Experience:
* Holds a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 certificate or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Engineering (Essential).
* Previous experience in a Motor Vehicle Engineering environment (Essential).
* Evidence of working in an FCA regulated environment (Desirable but not essential).
* Evidence of working in a customer-focused environment (Desirable but not essential).

* Great basic salary of £29,850 per annum.
* Monday to Friday - between 08:30 and 17:30 - 37.5 hours per week.
