My client a family feel firm based in Wakefield. Are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary/ Assistant to join their team.
Main Duties:
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to the fee earners and to work as a team with our other legal secretaries including printing, typing, time-recording, filing, photocopying, telephone calls
- Dealing with client enquiries and communications including making appointments and dealing with conflict checks
- Managing fee earner's diaries
- Liaising with counsel chambers' to secure bookings and arrange conferences and meetings
- Creating, managing and updating court bundles
- Dealing with legal aid forms and applications online
- Dealing with court applications online
- To assist in the general administration of the firm including providing reception cover at lunchtimes and to cover staff absences
