As a key player in our systems engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovative software solutions that improve patient outcomes. You’ll collaborate with talented multi-disciplinary teams, tackling challenges head-on with creativity and expertise. Your key responsibilities will include: Participation in the entire product development lifecycle of medical devices that include software. Assist with business development efforts related to Team’s software solutions. Gather and comprehend client needs, transforming them into actionable product requirements. Create documentation for software architecture and design. Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into medical systems. Contribute to cross-functional medical device product development projects within the Team, such as mind mapping, risk assessments, design development, design testing, and sales presentations. Requirements Essential: A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field (preferably 2:1 or above) Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++,C#, and working knowledge of Python 3 years’ experience and track record in developing embedded applications and/or desktop applications Appreciation of electronics design Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly Excellent analytical ability, including data gathering, analysis and presentation of conclusions to the team. Versatility to work effectively on varied products across a range of clients, both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Understanding and experience of working to strict quality management systems. Desirable: Familiarity with the software medical development standard IEC 62304 or working in other regulated environments. Experience in wireless connectivity such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, and NFC Bare metal programming or using an RTOS Embedded Linux experience Experience of working for a medical device development company or consultancy.
