Job Description The Role – Stock and Systems Administrator To support the stock and systems function across our Hinkley Point operations, we are looking for an experienced Stock and Systems Team Leader to join our already established team that is Helping Britain Achieve Net Zero. The role will be based in our Warehouse in Bridgwater, TA6 6TS. As a Stock and Systems Team Leader, you will oversee stock control processes, manage system integrity, and lead a team to ensure accurate inventory records. You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimising stock discrepancies, and optimising the warehouse management system. The successful individual will need to adopt a safety first / zero harm culture to their working environment. The role will report directly to the Stock & Systems Manager. Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment, this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history Why Wincanton? Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and our customer teams to improve stock control processes. Supporting the development of the Stock and Systems function across the contract including processes, practices, procedures to evidence compliance to Licence Conditions. Train and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Working with the Technical team to ensure that the care and maintenance of equipment is controlled and regulated throughout the storage life, proactively reporting, and updating schedules Oversee the use and maintenance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure data accuracy. Generate reports on stock performance, trends, and discrepancies. Delivering the contractual Key Performance Indicators relating to department targets Coordinating cycle counting disciplines and producing analytical data from the results that identifies trends and recommends corrective action Communicating any systems issues in line with operations system escalation procedure. Support system upgrades, process improvements, and new implementations. Maintain accurate inventory records, investigate stock discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. The Person Experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse systems. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) ideally Manhattan 2017 and Microsoft Excel. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full UK driving license is desirable What do we offer?
