Job description requirements - Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine. - Carry out new works, repairs and routine planned maintenance activities to mechanical and heating, hot and cold-water plant, equipment and services. - Carry out reactive work requests, minor new installation requests and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently. - Escort contractors carrying out inspections, installations - Strictly adhere to the relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations. Qualification - minimum NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, refrigeration or mechanical services - Specialised in a mechanical service (i.e. Gas, refrigeration, heat pumps) - Water safety Training Experience - Experience with all types of mechanical, ventilation or gas installations and maintenance - Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision - Worked within NHS environment Other - Ability to interact at all levels. - Flexibility and adaptability. - Computer literate - Current driving license - May be required to participate in the Department’s out of hours on call system If this isn’t the right role for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a confidential conversation.
