We are pleased to have partnered with a reputable B2B IT hardware provider looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team, primarily focusing on Accounts Payable/Receivable functions. Key Responsibilities: Accurate entry of all transactional accounting entries Review vendor invoices against receipted stock items Track returned items and ensure credit notes are received Assist with weekly payment preparation Resolve accounts payable queries Perform vendor reconciliations and process employee expenses Maintain Fixed Asset Register Conduct bank reconciliations and monthly prepayment reconciliations Prepare bimonthly VAT & monthly Intrastat returns - Advantageous Handle import declaration (SADs) and credit insurance monitoring Support with customer debt collection as needed Requirements: Proven experience in accounts payable and general accounts administration Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Microsoft Navision experience is a plus) Strong communication and problem-solving skills AAT qualification is beneficial Positive telephone manner and team-oriented mindset Please note: As you can appreciate we are currently overwhelmed with applications of individuals looking for both short term and permanent work and we can therefore only contact those applications that have relevant skills for positions that we currently have available.
