Our client, a long-established and dynamic legal practice in Kent, is expanding its team and is seeking experienced solicitors to join their thriving practice.

The Opportunities
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of residential and commercial property matters from start to finish, including:
2. Freehold and leasehold sales/purchases
3. Transfers of equity and remortgages
4. Stamp duty procedures and title checking
5. Preparation of search reports and handling enquiries
6. Leasehold transactions, including grants of leases
7. Advising on landlord and tenant relationships, lease renewals, and deeds of surrender
8. Assisting with refinancing, business acquisitions/sales, and utilities agreements
9. Engaging in active business development initiatives
10. Benefit from dedicated secretarial support, allowing you to focus on delivering expert legal advice.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3 years PQE in residential and commercial conveyancing
2. Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload
3. Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize in a high-volume environment
4. Excellent client care and communication skills coupled with a professional, proactive approach
Responsibilities:
1. Handle a broad range of private client matters, including:
2. Estate and care fees planning
3. Drafting and advising on wills and will writing
4. Establishing and managing Lasting Powers of Attorney
5. Navigating Court of Protection matters
6. Administering trusts and trust administration
7. Managing probate and estate administration
8. Providing advice on inheritance tax planning, investments, and deputyship
9. Support candidates undertaking STEP qualifications with structured career development and continuous learning opportunities
Requirements:
1. A strong track record in private client work, particularly in wills, trusts, estates, and tax matters
2. Ability to efficiently manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision
3. Excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks
4. Superior client care and communication abilities, underpinned by technical competence and a professional demeanour
