The Role: Front of House & Team Leader
As the Front of House / Team Leader, you will be the face of Stella Dental and the first point of contact for every patient, providing an unparalleled experience from the moment they step into our practice. But your role goes beyond reception duties; you’ll be managing front-of-house operations and leading our non-clinical team, ensuring smooth, efficient practice workflows and a welcoming environment.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Patient Reception & Engagement: Greet patients warmly, coordinate check-ins, and handle appointment scheduling. You’ll play an essential role in building positive patient relationships that foster trust and loyalty.
* Appointment & Schedule Management: Maintain an organised schedule that optimises clinic flow while meeting patients' needs, ensuring the practice operates efficiently.
* Administrative Oversight: Manage all front-of-house administration, including payments, patient records, and documentation, ensuring daily operations run seamlessly.
* Patient Experience Excellence: Ensure every aspect of the patient journey—from arrival to departure—is smooth, friendly, and attentive. You’ll create an inviting waiting area, offer personalised support, and embody our commitment to exceptional service.
* Communication Liaison: Act as the bridge between clinical and non-clinical teams, facilitating clear, effective communication and helping to coordinate patient care needs across the practice.
* Leadership & Team Management: You’ll guide and support the team, overseeing HR responsibilities such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. You’ll also collaborate closely with the General Manager and management team to set and achieve goals for team development and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: At least 2 years in a Front of House, Reception, or similar role, ideally in dental, with experience in HR or team leadership.
* Leadership Abilities: A proactive, supportive leader with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable overseeing HR tasks and leading by example.
* Customer Service Excellence: Friendly, approachable, and committed to a high standard of patient care.
* Highly Organised & Detail-Oriented: A multi-tasker who can manage priorities in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy.
* Tech-Savvy: Competent in practice management software and proficient with standard office applications.
