About the role
As a Complex Enabling Support Worker, you will provide support and encouragement, taking direction from both the person supported and the person-centred support plan.
You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.
There will be the opportunity to cover sleep-in sessions, with an additional £60 per sleep-in.
Please note there will be an expectation of working night shifts with this position.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and other conditions.
* Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support.
* Implement and follow personalised care plans and support strategies.
* Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required.
* Promote independence and encourage individuals to engage in community activities.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care.
* Support individuals in managing challenging behaviours using positive behaviour support techniques.
