Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join our Triage team as a Band 5 Triage Community Staff Nurse working as an integral part of a Community Nursing service within the Windsor, Maidenhead & Slough locality. The Triage Community Staff Nurse will provide clinical support, assistance and professional expertise to all callers to the Community Nursing Triage Telephone Support, ranging from healthcare professionals to patients and their carers within Berkshire. The service is the main point of access for Windsor, Maidenhead & Slough Community Nursing. The post holder is expected to represent the service, in a professional and courteous manner always. Also providing advice and information using a level of clinical understanding and professional judgement. Main duties of the job You will be a key member of the Triage Team enabling professionals to make referrals to Community Nursing through one access point. You will be able to offer sound clinical advice that oversees entry into our Community Nursing service.
