What's involved with this role: Temporary HR Officer – Human Resources Job Ref: Darlington 6343815171807 Pay Rate: £13.02 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: Darlington The purpose of the role is to offer first response HR advice and effective HR support and guidance and maintain our HR processes and systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide first response to general HR enquires including matters relating to our policies, procedures, initiatives and development activity. Be a dynamic member of the support team, providing efficient and proactive HR support service, including processing financial information. Collaborate with and support our key stakeholders including HR, OH and H&S. Support any learning and development initiatives and monitor training programs. Maintain effective confidential document management to ensure documents are stored and easily accessible Work alongside HR advisors to ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and comply with legislation. Qualifications: Minimum of HR level 3 Certificate or equivalent demonstratable knowledge. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation. Impactful experience of working in a similar HR role. The ability to form working relationships with people at all levels. Ability to interpret policy and procedures to provide guidance to key stakeholders. A passion for HR. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
