Our story:
The Bridge Easton School is a complex needs school which opened in Easton, Norfolk in January 2023. The school is on a growth plan and continues to grow until September 2025 to provide for 180 children and young people with cognition and learning difficulties, and autism. As a school, we work with children, their families and other professionals within education, health, and care to support our children and young people to have a successful journey through their education. In addition to the main school, we offer our Base provision where classes offer a bespoke education to children and young people with high complex needs and autism who require a smaller class environment and offers a 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 staff ratio.

The Bridge Trust is a unique Multi Academy Trust which consists of five special schools, two primary schools, a Training & Development Service and an Outreach Service. We are an ambitious family of schools that embraces the individuality of everyone – children and adults.
We are recruiting for a Deputy Headteacher who main responsibilities will include:
* Whole school behaviour
* Admissions and auditing procedures
* Staffing
* ECTs/ITTs
* Appraisals
* Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
This position will deputise for the Headteacher when they are not available as well as supporting with the day-to-day management of the school. This role includes the line management of the Assistant Headteachers; collating data and monitoring progress; maintenance of resources, equipment, classrooms and displays and supporting the Headteacher with strategic tasks, reports and policies as required.
The Deputy Headteacher will have a teaching commitment of 3 hours each week.
