Manage the workshop team and ensure all KPI's are met. Ensure agreed operational targets are achieved in respect of Risk and Assurance performance, asset availability and reliability and costs. Support the Fleet Manager with technical information to aid budget planning and take responsibility for your workshop P&L. Continually monitor equipment/performance and set plans to improve reliability of the processes and equipment. Manage the preparation and review of work instructions and risk assessments. Ensure equipment is serviced and maintained in accordance with the statutory regulations, such as LOLER, PUWER and manufacturer recommendations. Manage the team of Supervisor, Administrators, Technicians and Stores to provide a safe, cost effective and reliable maintenance solution on the fleet. Support and direct repairs alongside the team as and when required. Carry out quality checks, workshop checks, inductions and control of contractors. What we're looking for; City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in HGV Engineering or equivalent. Good communication skills & supervisory experience in a busy workshop. Thorough knowledge of current HGV MOT regulations and standards. IRTEC licence is desirable. Electrical/Hydraulic/Pneumatic experience. What's next?
