Management Brigg Permanent PART 1 : Role Details Role Title Managing Director – Actavo (PDC)/Tower Painting Division Department PDC Reports To Group CEO Location UK – at least 50% of working week in Brigg office. PART 2: Role Purpose The Actavo Group is looking to make an executive appointment to lead the PDC Tower Painting business with full P&L ownership and responsibility for growth strategy.
The purpose of this role is to lead the team to:
a) maximise internal operational efficiency/streamlining;
b) grow the business profitably and sustainably;
c) drive team engagement and development; and
d) drive KPIs and project performance metrics and profitability;
PART 3: Principle Responsibilities
1. Provide the necessary strategic leadership skills to assume responsibility for a growing business
2. Business development: Develop a robust BD strategy to promote the company's strengths and unique offerings. Explore partnerships and collaborations to expand the client base and revenue streams. Expand service offerings by exploring new service niches or introducing innovative solutions; expand geographical spread of service offering.
3. Operational streamlining: Enhance productivity through the use of technology and process efficiency. Restructure operational processes to streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
4. Financial Management and control: Project performance metrics, KPIs and strict performance evaluation versus budget and plans. Regular planned reviews of performance versus budget. Implement rigorous budgeting and financial controls to manage cash flow effectively
5. Employee engagement and empowerment: Foster an inclusive environment where employees are encouraged to contribute ideas for improvement. Recognize and reward exceptional performance to boost motivation
6. Communication: Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, including employees, creditors, sub-contractors, shareholders, and clients. Build trust through transparent reporting of progress and challenges
7. Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work. Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and the entire division.
PART 4: Person Specification Experience
8. Operations management in a fast paced customer focused environment
9. Knowledge of the Tower painting industry, or similar, preferred
10. Commercially astute with Profit & Loss Management experience
11. Experience leading diverse teams
12. Entrepreneurial leadership experience within a fast-phased growth environment
