We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast-paced culinary environment. Responsibilities
1. Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the establishment, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.
2. Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication within the team.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
4. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies for food production.
5. Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.
6. Support in scheduling staff shifts and managing labour costs effectively.
7. Assist in developing menus and special offerings that align with culinary trends and customer preferences.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
2. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food production techniques and food safety practices.
3. Proven ability to manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative work environment.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for problem-solving.
5. Experience in bartending or hotel management is advantageous but not essential.
