Your primary responsibility will be to provide effective oversight and monitoring of NIS Governance Frameworks, ensuring business assurance and addressing any risks or issues that arise. You’ll support the initial design and ongoing monitoring of Frameworks, including Product Governance, Fair Value, Delegated Authority requirements for Claims and Underwriting, and market onboarding practices. Additionally, you will contribute to the design, review, and continuous improvement of these frameworks, ensuring they align with business risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Your role involves monitoring and reporting on the skills, knowledge, and ethical standards of individuals with delegated authority, identifying and addressing quality and performance issues to maintain competence. You’ll proactively plan, report, and analyse data for assurance checks to identify risks, recommend actions, and inform management decisions. Role known internally as Supply Chain Governance Consultant This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”. Your technical expertise includes the ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data, experience in general insurance and regulation, process improvement, change management, and compliance. You possess a Financial Services qualification and have a proven track record of designing and implementing effective governance frameworks and controls. You will also have the following: A keen ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Your analytical skills enable you to assess risks accurately and recommend effective solutions to enhance governance practices. A dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers. You demonstrate a clear understanding of customer needs and ensure they receive high-quality service, contributing to improved customer outcomes. A meticulous approach ensures that all aspects of governance frameworks and processes are thoroughly reviewed and maintained.
