Lichfield IT Full Time, Permanent Pegasus Group is in search of an IT Operations Manager to oversee the smooth functioning of the organisation's IT infrastructure. This key role involves overseeing team efforts to ensure the security and scalability of IT systems align with company goals. What Are We Looking For The ideal candidate for this role will showcase strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions. You will need to be able to demonstrate proficiency in recognised certifications and a history of effective IT management practices. Qualifications, Skills And Experience Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT operations, team leadership, and project management. Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams and large-scale IT initiatives. Certifications MS-700 (Microsoft Teams Associate): Mastery of managing and deploying Microsoft Teams environments to support communication and collaboration across the organization. MS-100 (Microsoft Identity and Services): Advanced understanding of identity management, security, and compliance solutions in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. CompTIA Security: Comprehensive knowledge of IT security concepts, including risk management and incident response. CompTIA Network: Proficiency in networking concepts, infrastructure, and troubleshooting methodologies. CompTIA A: Solid foundation in IT operations, hardware, software, and troubleshooting. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, virvisualization, and cloud technologies. Expertise in service management frameworks such as ITIL. Familiarity with ERP systems, Power BI, and other data analysis tools. Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
