An exciting opportunity has arisen for a community staff nurse to work in District Nursing within the Chorley Villages area.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a variety of settings and will be part of an innovative, dynamic district nursing team.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the 24-hour community nursing service, under the direction of the district nursing sister, providing high-quality holistic nursing care to patients and to a defined shift pattern with a service responsible for the provision of care 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
The staff nurse role carries delegated responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based nursing to patients in their own home and other community settings.
To assume delegated responsibility for the supervision of the team in the absence of the District Nursing Sister when required.
