Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Ref: 189659)
Fixed term until October 2027
Part Time – 20.75 hours per week
Band 3 Salary Range £25,468 - £27,486 per annum (pro rata)
plus additional allocation for on-call
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,256 per annum (pro rata)
Working as part of the multi-disciplinary theatre team, you will assist and support the smooth running of the peri-operative service. Your duties will include participating with staff in the care of patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including endoscopy, and also operating, cleaning and maintaining equipment.
You will be motivated, have good interpersonal and team working skills and be able to plan and prioritise your workload. There will be an expectation that the post holder will be required to work independently at times. The ability to undertake an on-call commitment will be required.
This contract is for a fixed-term until October 2027. The reason for the fixed-term contract is to support training in the department. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
