Job Description
As an Accounts & Audit Senior, you will be required to:
1. Work alongside Senior Accountants to manage a portfolio of clients and prepare annual accounts.
2. Complete various accounting, tax, and bookkeeping duties.
3. Attend client meetings where required.
4. Manage a portfolio of clients.
5. Produce statutory accounts for SMEs.
6. Deal directly with clients and work alone at their premises when required.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. Experience working in an accountancy practice.
2. A drive to progress through studies and build a successful career.
3. Experience with preparation of year-end accounts, processing VAT returns, performing tax computations, amongst other ad hoc duties.
4. Commercial awareness.
5. Part Qualified (AAT, ACA, ACCA).
6. Experience of accounting standards and a wide range of clients.
7. Proficiency in IT systems such as Xero, Excel, and Sage.
8. The ability to develop client relationships and understand client service standards.
