This role has been created to help the existing team manage day-to-day accounts payable tasks while they focus on upcoming projects. With a busy period ahead, they need an extra pair of hands to ensure smooth processing of invoices and payments.
This position is perfect for someone with 6-12 months of finance experience who wants to gain valuable hands-on exposure in a fast-paced environment. While initially a 3-month contract, the upcoming projects mean there is every chance for an extension. This role requires someone who is immediately available or on a one-week notice period.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing invoices and matching them to delivery notes
2. Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accurate records
3. Resolving supplier queries in a timely manner
4. Approving invoices for payment and ensuring accuracy
5. Assisting with general accounts payable duties to support the team
Candidate Attributes and Skills:
1. At least 6-12 months of finance experience (accounts payable exposure preferred)
2. Keen to develop finance skills and gain valuable experience
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
4. Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
5. Available immediately or within one week
