Technical Specialist (Platform) - Wholesale IT Service Assurance
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leading industry experts as part of a complementary team working on the next generation Wholesale IT Service Assurance Platform.
The individual we are looking for is an expert Technical Specialist, performing this critical role you'll have daily interactions with product and technical teams where you will influence platform architecture and design and provide timely feedback on all things related to the platform and products. This role assumes technical accountability of the Service Assurance platform, successful candidate will be leading and supervising activities which include platform performance, improvement, and strategic change.
In this role you will be working closely with Security, Solution Designers and Architects to chip in towards platform design and strategy, enabling the successful delivery and rollout of services onto a stable robust platform able to meet high demand.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
* Technical background (any ITSM platforms or in general) in tool customization and configuration including workflow development, along with knowledge of APIs development/integration. Tech-savvy and have the right attitude to learn.
* Proficiency in BMC Helix customization and configuration, including workflow and form development.
* Experience with integrations between BMC Helix and third-party systems.
* Technically highly capable with a background in IT Transformation.
* Experienced in delivering IT using multiple methodologies, i.e., Waterfall, Agile.
* Experience in integrations and software development at scale where the product and service are heavily dependent on IT platforms and rapidly evolving technology.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
* DevSecOps toolchains (Selenium, Jenkins, Git ...).
* Desirable telecoms industry knowledge of fixed, mobile voice & data services and related network delivery methods.
* ITIL and/or eTOM frameworks understanding (e.g. change, incident management processes).
* Understanding and familiarisation of Impact Analysis within change and fault management, considerations for large volumes of data.
* Collaboration Tools - Teams/Jira/Confluence.
