Key Responsibilities
Assess Client Needs: Understand project requirements, timelines, resources, and costs in close collaboration with clients.
Develop Project Plans: Create detailed project plans for each stage, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Monitor Progress: Continuously track project quality, costs, and progress to ensure project milestones are met.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Regularly report progress to senior management and clients, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and achieved.
Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the project, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks.
Full Lifecycle Ownership: Manage the project from design through to completion and handover, ensuring all documentation is in place.
Project Documentation: Own and maintain all project documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and progress tracking.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Identify risks and opportunities, maintaining focus on quality throughout the project.
Scope & KPI Management: Review and track the project scope and performance against KPIs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, key decision-makers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company processes and standards on all projects.
Company Culture: Promote and maintain the company’s values and culture within the team and across projects.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* 3-4 years of experience in a project management role within an engineering environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A customer-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
* Data-driven with an analytical mindset, capable of reporting and tracking project performance.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong budget management and cost-control skills.
* Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
* Engineering background or relevant qualifications.
