This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in January 2025. The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the national curriculum and inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business principles, concepts, and practices. Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and an appreciation for the role of business in the modern world. Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing differentiated learning strategies to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities. Utilizing a variety of teaching resources, including case studies, real-world examples, and business simulations, to enhance students' learning experiences. Collaborating with colleagues within the Business and Economics department to develop and enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education. The Successful Candidate will have: A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. A strong understanding of the KS4 and KS5 Business Studies curriculum. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for business education. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
