As an Operational Resilience Analyst at Vanquis, youll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Operational Resilience Framework, ensuring we meet regulatory requirements and maintain smooth operations. You'll work closely with our Operational Resilience Manager to reduce risks, improve resiliency, and ensure recovery plans are effective across the business. As an Operational Resilience Analyst, you will: Advising stakeholders on the adoption of VBGs Operational Resilience framework and methodologies across the Group. Supporting the identification and annual review of Vanquis Important Business Services (IBSs) and setting of associated Impact Tolerances (ITols). Working with IBS and Critical Business Process Owners to map all Resources (People, Locations, Technology, Data and Third Parties) required to deliver an IBS. Maintenance and completion of all Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Response and Recovery Plans using VBGs Operational Resilience tool (Fusion). Coordinating and delivery of IBS Testing to understand the IBSs ability to remain within ITol. This will involve interacting with all levels of management and all elements of the Business. Working with Resource owners to identify vulnerabilities and agree remediation plans to improve the ability to remain within ITol for assigned IBSs. Ensure that business processes, technology and third-party testing confirms that the Groups resilience requirements are being achieved. Provide recommendations and approaches toward improving operational resilience, both tactically and strategically. Provide guidance and support in Operational Resilience engagements across the business including BIAs, risk assessments, Response and Recovery plan development, training & exercising. What Were Looking For: Essential: Sound understanding of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity planning within the Financial Service Industry. Analytical thinking with ability to interpret Business Information and use it for sound decision making. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge. Experience in leading the delivery of IBS testing. Desirable: Educated to degree level or otherwise suitable experience. Experience of using Operational Resilience software tools (Fusion and Everbridge).
