Graduate Sales & Business Development
Location: Manufacturing, St Helens
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Our client is a thriving manufacturing business heavily investing in developing new technologies and products.
Working in conjunction with the Business Development Manager, you will support the launch of a fantastic new product across Europe, generating leads and developing relationships with high profile customers across a range of industries.
This exciting opportunity is a newly created role with huge potential for progression and development. It would be well suited to a recent graduate or trainee who is keen to kickstart their career in Sales, Marketing and Business Development within the Manufacturing / Engineering sector!

What will the role involve?
1. Supporting the Business Development Manager in planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies for a new product line across Europe.
2. Identifying potential markets, customers and distribution channels within the industrial / manufacturing sector, generating high quality leads.
3. Producing and analysing data to support the Business Development Manager in commercial negotiations and to enable accurate sales forecasts.
4. Assuming ownership of all Sales Support / Administration tasks for this product line (e.g. pricing, stock levels, delivery requirements, order placement etc).
5. Undertaking European Business travel as required by the role (on average, likely to be 1 week every 2 months).
You will ideally have…
1. Passion, drive and ambition to forge a successful career in B2B Sales.
2. Willingness to develop strong product knowledge (full training provided).
3. Previous sales support, sales administration or business development experience.
4. Honed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
5. Good analytical and MS Excel skills.
6. Ability to take the initiative and work independently in an autonomous role.
7. Full UK driving licence and ability to undertake business travel.
