Job Title: IT Support Engineer Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Are you ready for a fresh challenge in a growing, forward-thinking environment? We’re working with a well-established and fast-growing technology solutions provider based in Stroud, and they’re on the lookout for a talented IT Support Engineer to join their expanding IT support team. This is a company that truly values its people – not just words on a careers page. They’ve built a culture that blends professionalism with approachability, and they’re big on development, collaboration, and giving their engineers the tools and autonomy they need to thrive. Whether you’re feeling stuck in a stagnant role or simply looking for a team where your contributions will be recognised and make a genuine impact, this is a brilliant opportunity. What you’ll be doing: Taking the reins on escalated support issues – hardware, software, networking – and owning them through to resolution. Collaborating directly with end-users and stakeholders to deliver real solutions that keep systems and people running smoothly. Helping to shape internal processes and best practices. Working as part of a close-knit, ambitious team that’s passionate about customer service and getting things done right. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in a Tier 2 or senior 1st line role – someone who can hit the ground running with common support issues. A solid grounding in Windows environments, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.), and Office 365. A logical thinker with strong communication skills – able to explain tech clearly to non-techy people. Someone who’s proactive, keen to learn, and ready to take that next step up. Certifications like CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a bonus – but not a dealbreaker. What’s in it for you: Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience. Genuine progression opportunities as the company continues to grow. A flexible and supportive working environment with hybrid options. Great team culture – no egos, just passionate people doing great work. Regular company socials, personal development support, and the chance to be part of something exciting. If you’re looking for more than just “another IT job” – if you want to be part of a journey, somewhere that appreciates your input and invests in your future – then this could be your perfect next move.
