Commercial Insurance Account Handler - Sheffield
An excellent new opportunity has arisen working for this brokerage within their Sheffield operation. This company is a proudly independent intermediary and expert within their field.
This role as Commercial Account Handler would be working within their commercial team where you would be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, having regular contact with the account executives, negotiating broking strategies and obtaining the best possible terms from the market place. You will be the 1st point of contact for the client on technical matters, overseeing the whole renewal process from start to finish; processing MTA’s/changes to the risk/policies and attending client visits when necessary.
You will need to have a good understanding of the various commercial insurance markets and their underwriting guidelines/capacities, be competent and technically strong on most classes of commercial insurance business, and be able to write/construct and compile reports. It is therefore essential that you can communicate at all levels and have previously worked within a broking/intermediary environment and/or commercial broking/account handler role.
