Your Role as a Secondary SEN Class Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs. Use adaptive teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of students. Foster a supportive and structured classroom environment where students feel confident and motivated. Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans. Encourage students' independence, confidence, and social skills through innovative teaching approaches. Assess and track student progress, ensuring they receive the best possible learning experience. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them engaged in their child’s education. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience teaching SEN students (Secondary experience preferred). ✅ A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs. ✅ Experience in SEN settings or a strong understanding of differentiated learning approaches. ✅ Excellent communication and behaviour management skills. ✅ A positive, patient, and proactive approach to education. ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
