Are you looking for a new challenge in your veterinary career? Do you want to work for a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in the vibrant city of Aberdeen? Our client has recently expanded and is now searching for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their independent 2-site practice, which will soon expand to three locations. This practice treats all domestic pets, including exotics, and is situated in Aberdeen, a city known for its historic architecture, thriving cultural scene, and stunning coastal landscapes.
The practice is equipped with a wide range of in-house diagnostic tools, including ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscope, ECH, digital microscopy, an in-house laboratory, and an ultraviolet (woods) lamp, among others. You will join a team of nine experienced Veterinary Surgeons, six fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a small team of receptionists and support staff. They pride themselves on maintaining a high RVN/support staff-to-vet ratio, allowing the nurses to fulfil their potential and support the vets, enabling them to focus on their specialised skills. The team is known for its friendly and sociable nature, both within and outside of work.
Our client is looking for a team player who finds joy in small animal work. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and equally comfortable engaging in case discussions with colleagues.
