We are currently looking for a Facilities Assistant to work on site for our high profile client in Guilford. The position is working within the facilities team helping ensure the building runs smoothly. The client is looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on, has excellent administration skills, and holds a valid DBS.
It is a full-time position working Monday to Friday on a shift rotation in either the morning or the afternoon on a temporary contract.
Facilities Assistant
Location: Guilford
Contract: Temp - Perm
Salary: £12ph - £13ph
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver a five-star service by welcoming tenants and guests.
2. Conduct floor walks to ensure everything is working correctly and report any issues to the helpdesk.
3. Answer emails accordingly.
4. Manage administration related to policies and procedures.
5. Create security passes.
6. Perform manual handling, including room reconfiguration and relocating items between floors. Must be prepared to lift.
7. Coordinate with contractors.
8. Manage Excel spreadsheets.
9. Log and track maintenance tasks with the helpdesk.
10. Work closely with pitch teams, catering, security, reception, and the post room.
11. Build relationships with all tenants in the building.

We seek someone enthusiastic about ensuring a high level of service is delivered at all times, with a friendly, professional, and bubbly personality. Candidates must be extremely well-presented (must own a Black/Navy Suit with matching Blazer, White Shirt, Black Court Shoes (tie for male)). Fantastic communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with high-profile clients.
