Are you currently working in a Local Government Elections/ Electoral Registration Department and looking for that next step in your career.
We are looking for a confident, articulate person who can demonstrate previous experience working mid-level in Electoral Registration and Elections.
Flexibility is the key to this post, and you will need to be able to respond to changing priorities. You must be a team player, able to line manage and motivate staff whilst being able to manage your own workload. You will be required to work to tight deadlines, with attention detail, and be an effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
Throughout planned election periods, you will be expected to work additional hours, possibly including weekends, at peak times.
You must be proficient in using IT systems to deliver council services, with experience of using Xpress Register and Xpress Management highly desirable.
