Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Multi Skilled Shift Engineer - Electrical Bias, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out safety checks, reactive works, planned maintenance servicing, and general repairs.
2. You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety.
3. Understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring.
4. Inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
5. You should be IT literate for record keeping and have good customer service skills.
6. Be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Background in facilities maintenance within the construction sector, data hall industry, critical engineering, or similar.
2. Qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
3. 17th or 18th edition for electrically biased engineers or City & Guilds craft certificate/ONC etc.
4. Recognised craft apprenticeship for mechanical/plumbing biased engineers.
5. Preferable: Comprehensive understanding of Building Services. C&G 2391 or equivalent desirable. Full in-depth, intrusive security checks to be completed for successful candidate.
