We are looking for a Law graduate to join our friendly and collaborative Business Affairs team. You will have an interest in developing a legal/business affairs career in intellectual property.
Some Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Conducting legal clearances of new programme titles in the UK and EU
2. Assisting with international brand protection for television formats, including filing trade marks and brand enforcement/litigation work
3. Monitoring of social media and online platforms for brand infringements and taking enforcement action as necessary
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
4. Bachelor’s degree in law or postgraduate diploma in law (or equivalent postgraduate qualification in law)
5. Demonstrated interest and basic knowledge of intellectual property law (for example completion of undergraduate or postgraduate module in IP or evidence of work experience relating to intellectual property)
6. Applications will be reviewed and assessed against the pre-screening questions
7. Must be available for interviews & assessments in July to start work in September 2024
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
8. High degree of competency in using applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint to create and maintain detailed project documentation and well-presented executive summaries for senior management
9. Ability to review and assimilate large amounts of information and to use a high degree of attention to detail to use the information to create project documentation and strategy recommendations
10. Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with various key ITV teams, including other ITV legal and business affairs teams, production management, finance, Rights, Casting, Music.
