Duties and Responsibilities Manage Referrals Service Development Clinical and Medication Practices Health and Safety Risk and Needs Assessment Support and Transition Services Professional Conduct Service Coordination Environment Maintenance Regulatory Liaison Safeguarding Protect children and young people through sound management and collaboration with external agencies. Team Management Manage Support Workers and Support Assistants. Partnerships and Compliance: Develop relationships with partners and commissioners, ensuring contract compliance. Inclusion Opportunities: Promote participation of children and young people in home activities and decision-making. Legislation Compliance: Ensure the home operates in line with relevant legislation and standards. Qualifications Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, Children & Young Peoples Services, or equivalent. Recent experience relevant to residential care within the last five years. Experience supervising managing or mentoring professional staff. Sound knowledge and understanding of Children Homes regulation including Quality Standards 2015, The Childrens Homes Amendment Regulations 2011, Care Standards Act 2000, Ofsted and related legislation, and policies and procedures.
