We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant and Job Coach to join the Skills for Life team to guide learners within the Supported Internship programme that could lead to paid employment.
As part of this specialist team, successful candidates will be flexible and have an understanding and experience of working with students who have diverse special learning needs. A high standard of communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
These roles require proactive professionals who can work with the teaching team to remove potential barriers and support the learner assessment process.
You will have the opportunity to develop skills by liaising with employers, learners, and families to achieve maximum results and the reward of the learner gaining paid employment.
You will need to be flexible and work well as part of a team to support the provision for learners within Skills for Life. The role will involve supporting our learners in their work placement.
This role is a part-time position working 30 hours a week, term time only at our New Bedford Road Campus. The position is fixed term starting from January 2025 until end of June 2025.
