The club are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join their team as Chairperson. The successful candidate will
play a crucial role in ensuring that the charity’s management committee functions properly, that there is full participation at meetings, that all relevant matters are discussed and that effective decisions are made and carried out.
Further information about this role:
> 2 - 6 hours per week
> 6 weekly committee meetings
Key Responsibilities include:
1) Leading the committee and the organisation to enable it to fulfil its purpose.
2) To ensure an effective relationship between:
o the committee and the staff/volunteers.
o the committee and the external stakeholders/community.
3) Acting as a spokesperson and figurehead as appropriate.
4) To supervise and support the head of staff.

As the Chairperson, you will need to:

> Have relevant knowledge of organisation and people management.
