To support the future growth of the airport, we are looking to recruit a Security Operations Coordinator to support in the development and administration of operational continuity and resilience within the security department.
Snapshot of the role:
* Ensure team compliance with current legislation and procedural updates.
* Manage and coordinate CCTV, access, and archive requests per Data Protection Policy.
* Investigate, review, and manage Security Incident reports for continuous improvement.
* Coordinate security KPIs, data capture, and incident reporting.
* Support the compliance team to maintain high operational standards and best practices.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date security equipment records.
* Assist in drafting and issuing Risk Assessments for projects, processes, and systems.
* Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
* Handle the ordering of security consumables and manage CTC applications and ID pass renewals.
* Support the security and HR teams during the annual security recruitment programme.
* Attend Security Committee and Risk Advisory Group meetings, take accurate notes, and prepare detailed minutes.
* Support the delivery of a Security Culture representative of the industry.
* Prepare presentations, write correspondence, reports, security bulletins, and circulars.
* Ensure actions for the operational Security teams are implemented and outcomes communicated.
* Support the implementation of the Security Management System (SEMs) per DfT and CAA directions.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and skilled professional with a deep understanding of relevant regulatory and local policies, including Aviation Security (AvSec) plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on regulatory compliance, ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are aligned with the latest standards and best practices. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to stay current with evolving regulations and policies, demonstrating a proactive approach to maintaining and enhancing security measures.
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to persuade and influence others is crucial, as this role involves collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to implement and uphold security policies effectively. Strong planning and organisational skills are essential, as the candidate must be capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, employing a methodical and detailed approach to ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all responsibilities.

This is an extremely varied and exciting role working a Monday to Friday working pattern (although flexibility is required depending on business needs). Applicants must have a 5-year checkable work history, must have lived continuously in the UK for over 3 years and will be required to complete a basic DBS check as well as a CTC check; in addition, further checks may apply.
