Ready to reimagine your career and the impact you can make? Your role and responsibilities This is a great opportunity to step into a Senior Administrator role within a friendly and supportive team. Although a small team, this is a service that is critical in the effective day-to-day running of the Children and Young People Services (CYP) executive, including Leadership Team, Cabinet Members and Heads of Service. The team is comprised of our Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Senior Administrators and Administrators. The team also retain close links with our wider CYP Business Support and Information Governance teams. Your daily tasks may include all or some of the following: Providing comprehensive administrative support across our Directorate. Managing a diverse range of day-to-day operations, including financial processes, IT systems, HR coordination, and compliance with information handling procedures and legislation. Your exceptional organisational skills will shine as you seamlessly coordinate diary schedules, arrange events and meetings, take action notes and liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. With a keen eye for detail and a solutions-oriented mindset, you might train colleagues, monitor progress, and tackle project-based work with efficiency. You could be providing advice on on specialist policies and procedures, assisting with budgets and planning your own and others work. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess exceptional communication abilities, and have a passion for providing outstanding administrative support, we encourage you to apply for this role. You will need experience in successfully carrying out specialist administrative and financial procedures excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc to collaborate well with others and be flexible in your approach to meet the demands of the post and team.
