Join to apply for the Engineering Apprentice role at Waterloo Area Historical Society.
Salary: £17,500 per annum
Location: Aspall, Suffolk
Duration: 2-Year Fixed Term Contract
Your Purpose
You will apply your passion, dedication, and talent to help our business grow and be first choice for our people, our customers, and our consumers. In return, we'll develop and invest in your skills and experience and give you the best start on your career journey.
So, What Does That Mean For You
We're recruiting Engineering Apprentices to work in our UK breweries across the UK. For the first year, you'll train with a provider to gain essential manufacturing skills, then move to your home brewery.
The programme prepares future engineering technicians to tackle challenges with advanced brewing and packaging equipment. Apprentices maintain complex machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
You'll receive hands-on training, rotating through departments and supported by a mentor. The apprenticeship combines on-the-job experience with academic study toward nationally recognized qualifications, including a BTEC Level 3 and potentially an HNC Level 4 in Engineering.
About You
If you're passionate about developing your skills, our brands, and our business, then we would love to hear from you.
1. You will need to have/be predicted a minimum of 5 GCSE (grades 4-9) including Maths, English & Science (Maths at grade 6-9).
2. Applications are welcomed from those with L3 qualifications (A levels and/or BTEC. Minimum of 96 UCAS points) and a passion for a career in engineering.
3. Adaptable - you're flexible to meet new challenges at pace.
4. Collaborative - We work together, celebrate together and we win together. The greatest achievements are built by teams!
5. Curious - You'll look for ways to do things differently and always keep learning.
6. Passionate - we're all passionate ambassadors of our brands and our business.
7. Proactive - We're innovators; unafraid to be direct and we act calmly and quickly.
