Deloitte is looking for an assistant manager copywriter with a strong portfolio of innovative, high-impact marketing campaigns. You’ll collaborate with designers, digital producers, campaign managers, and strategic marketing planners to create assets that engage clients and build the Deloitte brand. Work you’ll do: As an assistant manager copywriter, you will support the Advisory or Consulting Artificial Intelligence (AI) business by writing creative content that moves our clients and targets to action including: emails, social posts, business copy, blogs, POVs on latest topics and client stories/case studies, human interest stories, leader profiles, among others. Copywriting responsibilities: Strong creative thinking skills to convert briefs into creative concepts Write original and engaging copies that include ability to develop creative headlines and own a conversational style of writing that speaks to the reader Edit copies for campaign assets, including marketing collateral, infographics, web copy, social media, and email. Collaborate with strategic marketing planners, campaign managers, designers, and digital producers to develop creative concepts and assets that engage users. Don’t just write. Be a strategic advisor to senior marketers and client service practitioners, helping to clarify business objectives, define key messages, and differentiate Deloitte. Be an expert in Deloitte’s content marketing strategy, brand guidelines, style guide, and content typology. Rigorously proofread and edit every piece of work to deliver the highest-quality deliverables. Take the lead in presenting creative concepts and copy to internal teams. Proactively manage client revisions and reviews. Be an innovator. Continually recommend new creative channels, technology, approaches, or assets for campaigns. Review content for grammar, punctuation, readability, flow, and style; copyedit reports to correct errors and improve readability Ensure deliverables have zero/minimum errors and are consistent with the Deloitte style guide Strong attention to detail, adherence to prescribed timelines and quick turn around on deliverables will be critical Answer/author questions about grammar, language, style, and Deloitte production processes Establish and maintain processes to ensure consistently high quality of communications Additional skills: Comfortable working independently with little direction under tight deadlines Excellent portfolio of work Understanding the Agile methodology of work would be an added advantage The team USI Communications is a team of professionals who specialize in Internal Communications, Public Relations and Communication Technology. The team reinforces the culture and brand of Deloitte internally and monitors our external reputation – intervening where necessary. They also play the role of a strategic and trusted business advisor for leaders and ensure that professionals are equipped with the right information in a timely manner to excel at work and enjoy well-being. Other priorities include creating an open and transparent environment for leadership communications, leveraging internal channels creatively, effectively disseminating information and measuring the impact of communications. Qualifications Required: Post Graduate degree in Advertising, Marketing is preferred. Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience in copywriting and producing a wide range of marketing communications assets. Strong portfolio of relevant work demonstrating superior copywriting skills, advertising bent of mind, and marketing impact Conceptual and strategic thinker with the ability to balance innovative approaches with business objectives. Clear, concise writer who can distill complex ideas into easily understood language. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities and tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with senior leaders and highly intellectual thinkers. Strong editing and proofreading skills. Experience with B2B or professional services (consulting) industry or Advertising preferred.
