Ideally you will be experienced to Chef de Partie level with some knowledge of fish & shellfish. What you will be doing: Working in a customer facing role in our small 23 cover restaurant Basic food preparation for tapas style dishes Helping fishmonger prepare dishes for fish counter Working as part of a small, friendly team Helping with cleaning and preparing the kitchen Stein’s Fishmongers & Seafood Bar sells fresh fish, shellfish and pre-prepared seafood dishes, as well as lobsters, crabs, seafood salads, fish soup, fishcakes, along with salmon, prawn and crab sandwiches. We have a casual seafood bar to sit alongside our fish counter where our guests can soak up the atmosphere of a working local fishmongers, whilst tucking into some of the best seafood from our shores. We are looking for someone who can start immediately. We are open 7 days a week 11am - 5pm increasing to 11am - 6pm during summer, and you will be required to work weekends. Hours will be mostly daytime shifts 10am - 6pm, increasing to 9am - 6.30pm during peak season and will involve working occasional evenings.
