Key Responsibilities: Contribute to achieving company objectives and business plans, working closely with your line manager to execute a shared vision for your area. Build and nurture strong client relationships, exceeding expectations and creating new business opportunities through specification sales. Identify and target potential new clients, tailoring strategies to engage them, including hosting CPD seminars. Manage projects from conception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure success. Stay ahead of market trends and client needs, sharing insights to inform strategy and drive growth. Own the project pipeline, from design to procurement, ensuring high conversion rates and seamless execution. Maintain detailed, accurate client and contractor records in the company database. Experience: Background in specification sales within the construction sector or a similar relationship-driven industry. Proven track record of managing client and contractor relationships, exceeding sales targets. Flat roofing industry experience with in-depth knowledge of waterproofing systems. Experience in drafting detailed specifications, reports, and presentations. Strong cold calling and new business generation skills. Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Skills and Abilities: Expert knowledge of building regulations, British Standard Codes, and flat roofing systems. Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage diverse audiences. Self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational abilities. Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and delivering customer satisfaction.
