You will be responsible for managing the import/export of clients' products from various industries across the world via sea, ocean & air. Responsibilities
* Communicating with clients throughout the shipping process and collaborating with the team to provide logistics solutions.
* Handling day-to-day shipments from start to finish.
* Building and maintaining client relations for continued business.
* Coordinating final mile delivery requirements with third-party suppliers and in-house team.
* Providing general customs advice and creating customs and import ocean documents.
Requirements
* Experience working in operations for road, sea & air shipments.
* Ideally 2-3 years' experience working in a similar position for a freight forwarder in the UK.
* Knowledge of customs would be a bonus.
* Understanding of AEO procedures, Bills of Lading, Inco Terms, and general customs compliance.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Customer service experience.
