Teaching Personnel are looking for Childcare practitioners which adopt Trauma-informed approaches to support children which have a history of traumatic events early on in life.
Trauma results from an event, series of events, or set of circumstances that is experienced by an individual as harmful or life threatening. While unique to the individual, generally the experience of trauma can cause lasting adverse effects, limiting the ability to function and achieve mental, physical, social, emotional or spiritual well-being. As you can appreciate, children dealing with trauma require additional support both mentally and physically to ensure they are able to flourish within an education setting.

The school is situated within Ely area, Cardiff, Wales. The school is made up of 3 sites across the area, tailoring their approach to different needs and requirements for the young people they support.
