Support Worker (Internally know as an Enablement Assistant) Hourly Rate: £12.50 Location : Southampton Type of Contract : Permanent Hours of work : Part-time days Driver preferred for this role About the Role This role will be supporting Julian, a male in his late thirties, who is currently living in his own home in Southampton, supported on a 1 to 1 support ratio. Julian is a very active person and is looking for Team members who are energetic and physically fit to support him with different activities of his choice. He also attends work on a regular basis and his team member would be required to work along side him, this could be indoor or outside in all weather conditions. Julian especially enjoys attending different pride and cabaret events and would love his new team member to support him with his interests. Previous experience of supporting individuals with forensic needs or mental health background would be an advantage. Within PBS4, we call Support Workers ‘Enablement Assistants’. As an Enablement Assistant you will have the support of a team of people dedicated to supporting that person. You will also be able to access support from the Enablement Manager, Deputy Enablement Manager and the Positive Behaviour Support Clinician who provide you and the team with management and leadership.
